Daily Cleaning and Maintenance

Daily cleaning and maintenance are also an important aspect of maintaining the accuracy of multi-head scales.

Regular Cleaning

• After the daily use of the equipment, the main vibrating plate, wire vibrating plate, storage hopper, weighing hopper and other components that come into direct contact with the materials should be cleaned. First, use an air gun to blow off the surface dust, and then wipe it with a damp and wrung-out gauze dipped in a little neutral cleaning solution.
• For detachable components, they can be removed and placed in warm water at 30-50℃ for soaking and cleaning. For waterproof models, you can enter the manual test menu, turn on the cleaning function, and then directly rinse with water. For non-waterproof models, it is necessary to be cautious to prevent water from entering the interior of electrical components.

Clean Dust and Debris

• Regularly clean the dust under the components of the multi-head combination scale, and clean the dust inside the aluminum shell every two months. When used in a dusty environment, special attention should be paid to cleaning to reduce mechanical wear. Before each use, check if there are any foreign objects on the hooks of each weighing hopper, and remove the dust after use.
